|  Noindex?
I read somewhere on WF today that if you have a wordpress blog that you need to use the noindex tag on your posts. What does that mean? Does this make google not index your individual posts so your homepage will rank and not individual posts? I could be way off here. Any help would be very appreciated.

Google and the only other search engine that count are pretty smart these days. They know what to show and what not to show. There is no reason to noindex anything on normal websites. I have no idea why anyone would not want posts indexed. Indexing has nothing to do with how things rank. Paul |

Wow, that would suck to only have a hoepage in the SERPs & nothing else!  The only thing I would ever consider adding NOINDEX to would be something like a "Privacy Policy" page or similar. Still, most of the time those type of pages sink to the bottom of your search results for a site:domain.com search, over time... |

Some forums are moving to noindex on their profile backlinks because of all you despicable profile spammers  |
