Hi all, I would like to get your experience on this - I heard that there is an option to hire an SEO guy in outsourcing websites (oDesk, Elance etc.) and pay him by results. Meaning, if he manages to get better ranking for my site I pay him, if not then he doesn't get paid. Have any of you hired someone to work in this way? If yes, what is the average price for this kind of contract? - Lior |

That kind of contract is always good as you will not loose anything. However it is bit difficult to find a person who will work on this type of contract. I had a similar requirement sometime back but could not find a professional person (I searched for a very short period and that could be the reason that also I could not find a person) |

You need to be super careful when outsourcing SEO. They'll take you for a ride if you show any sort of ignorance about SEO.

Mike, I have a good understanding in SEO, I just hate doing it and don't have the time. This is exactly why I want to pay by results. I don't want them to burn my money doing useless stuff and want results as soon as possible. |
