Google staff will pick what appears in its search results

Hi Warriors,

Did anyone else catch this article:

Google cranks up the Consensus Engine ? The Register

This article reads as if Google staff is picking and choosing search results. But I think they are only referring to the comments that Google made about the promote and remove features that are displayed when you sign into iGoogle.

I think this journalist took the comments way out of context, if not, this is a huge change in the way Google operates.

It seems lately that the media has it in for Google and they are systematically demonizing them. Could the US government/media be looking to seize control over information disseminated through the Internet? With all the recent nationalization of industry, it can make you wonder.
