Hi warriors, When do you use and promote RSS feed (say with a RSS directory like Feedage.com)? Do you do that only for your own website where you update fresh content frequently ? How about... 1. Squeeze pages your created 2. your articles with Article Directories 3. PDF documents with Doc directories 4. Facebook fan pages 5. Yahoo Answers or Forums I suppose there are exceptions where you don't do RSS - can you educate me on that ? |

I usually use WP for most thing and the rss feed it creates is one of them. It's just another little element to helping get quickly indexed and found.

I use RSS feeds for every site I build. Just another medium to bring attention to my sites. Ping the feed and it leads the search engines to your site. Although I used them for static sites, these days I build all my sites using Wordpress. |

RSS Feeds can be a goldmine for your backlinking as well.... What I tell many of my students is to go to a site like icerocket.com and create an RSS Feed of all of their backlinks. Then they can submit their Icerocket RSS feeds to all of the RSS Directory sites and in the process get many of their backlinks indexed. |
