Google disabled my Adsense account, will that hurt my SEO

Google recently disabled my adsense account because they stated that they didn't like the content of my site. I simply wrote a few articles promoting a clickbank product. Anyway, they didn't give any other explanation except a link leading to a FAQ which said that I can put in an appeal but reinstatement is highly unlikely because they trust the decisions made by their site reviewers.

Anyway I have since replaced my adsense with clickbank banners and is getting good results and better profits but my concern is will losing the adsense account hurt my site's SEO?

I see no relationship between Adsense and SEO except for the fact that it is both run by Google. Except you are insinuating that Google may be biased and equally penalize you in their search results which i do not think.

Well, SEO is not really run by google.

Google wants all to follow their webmaster guidelines, but
they don't have to follow the extra adsense TOS.
(Adsense sites must follow all google webmaster guidelines
as well)

Gambling, porn, illegal activities, etc. all come up on google.
Many have high PR as well.

Thanks for the replies and no Dele I was not insinuating that Google is doing anything wrong but it was a concern on something that I deemed was possible. These sites are my income and my future. Thanks again for responding and easing my concern.

adsense and SEO is totally different.

Your ranking on Google search engine results is not related to your adsense account. They are completely different and your site can rank number of for hundreds of keywords if you optimize it well.

Indirectly it is, as Google constitutes about 65% of search results(SERP's) which is the platform to view the results of webmasters' SEO efforts.

That won't heart your seo, but it will heart your earnings for sure.

google does not run or own SEO. I'm sure a lot of webmasters care
very much about bing.

Has nothing to do with adsense anyway.

Dont worry.Google just hurt your adsense account and there is no way that it will hurt your SEO rankings.

Frankly speaking, if you lose your adsense account once, it's almost next to impossible to get it back. The only way left is to apply for a fresh account. But since you can have only one account, so this time apply for the business account.
Now since google gave the content of your site as one of the reasons, so they won't approve you again for the same site. My suggestion would be make an account here :
WebAnswers Will Be Back Shortly

And after registeration, post 10 questions or answers and you'll automatically receive a mail from google that you can open an adsense account. Just fill in your details. Open a business account, as in your case individual account was already there.. That's all. Your account will be verified in just one day and you're set to use it again.

As per as your SEO or page ranking is concerned, according to me it should not be affected.
