Pointers for ranking a cooker repair website?

Hello, I haven't spent much time in the forums as I have been rather busy with uni work but hopefully next year I plan to do some more online marketing and being more active.

I was wondering if someone could give me some pointers in ranking a cooker repair website. I said I would give it a go as a favour to my friends dad. I'm not sure where to generate some good links to the site. I've added it to a few social booking sites but the content doesn't seem that appropriate for these. In addition to this I can't really sit in forums giving people tips out cookers.
