I'm considering to build new sites on wordpress 3.1 platform and have network option enabled. This will allow me to build and manage numerous wp sites with one wordpress installation. With NETWORK option enabled there is NO need to install individual themes/plugins for each new site I build. here is an example: my main site: www.MainSite.com i create new subdomains: keyword1.MainSite.com keyword2.MainSite.com In this example - with NETWORK option enabled - i can MAP my subdomain, keyword1.MainSite.com to a completely diferent domain name: www.DiferentDomainName.com Now, to change the content ( or do anything else) of the site www.DiferentDomainName.com all I have to do is to login to the wp ADMIN of my MAIN site , www.MainSite.com and the changes will automatically appear on www.DiferentDomainName.com This set up saves a lot of time and allows me to build 30, 50 or 100s websites quickly with one ADMIN (my main site). Providing that i have NO plans to interlink all these sites ...is there any danger that GOOGLE may penalize the sites created in the above described manner? Your opinions please... |
