When I check the keyword density for my site, should I also count the keyword in my alt text and image tags? For example, when I check the keyword density without the image tags and alt text, I get a keyword density of a about 10%. Without counting them, it's around 2%. I just don't want be in danger of overstuffing keywords on my page. Thanks, P |

Google always prefers 3-5% keyword density.Don't count keywords in the alt and image tags. keyword density is always counted for keywords in the content

I usually try to get around 10% keyword density... sometimes higher. Don't include alt text and image tags when calculating keyword density.
