Ok, I have this one project that I need done. So I go to Easy Outsource to find workers. I set up a job board ad with clear instructions....and what i'm willing to pay. I get boat loads of interested applicants. I pick the best...then I email them to make sure there still interested..if yes....I send an email which restates my instructions complete with a link to some training vids I've made...(to show exactly what I want done). WITH A CLEAR DOABLE TIMLINE!! Then...I HEAR NOTHING!!!! They NEVER respond back..even though I request a response. And My projects are so damn easy a flipping monkey can do them...so it's not that the projects are difficult. The purpose of this...is also to find long term workers....meaning...if they do well with my easy projects (actually finish them, and communicate with me)...then...I am willing to build a long-term business relationship with them... In a month or so, I want to hire a full time VA (at around $250 a month) from the Philippians...and this is the process I've been using to find a quality worker. IT'S CLEARLY NOT WORKING!!!! Any thoughts??? Thanks |

Try oDesk.com, you will eat through 4-5 people before you find one you like for a long term project. Give people sample projects before you hire them from a big job.

Thanks for that...I just put out an job ad... Where should I hire a Full Time VA for around $250 a month? I want to hire from the Philippines.... Like I said I tried Easyoutsource...no luck. I know replacemyself.com is good but I can't justify the expensive monthly fee.

A decent VA is going to run you around 120PHP (Philippines Peso's) per hour. At the current exchange rate that's going to run you around $445/month for a full time 40/hour work week. The dollar has gotten progressively weaker against the PHP over the years. I started using workers in the Philippines in '09 and that 120PHP price was around $325USD Also, Odesk was mentioned above. I highly recommend it, but it will cost you a little more as well because there is a 10% premium.
