just bought bookmarking demon did i waste my money?

i was in the middle of picking either socal bot or bookmarking demon. I bought bookmarking demon but I now notice that it doesnt work as well as these reviews said it does. Did i just waste my money or do I have to give it time for me to see it work.

Bookmarking demon is a decent program. However, I don't think it's worth $147. You could always get a refund if you're not satisfied. Clickbank has 60 day money back guarantee. Use it for yourself and see if it's worth the money to you. Everyone has a different opinion.

Onlywire submitter would be a decent 'free' alternative. I use it everyday without any problem.

Bookmarking Demon is a waste of money. They social bookmark your site to like 5 good ones and then 100+ ones are ones that nobody visits. Most social bookmarking sites are nofollow so it doesn't pass any link juice.

Scrapebox is for blog commenting which is totally different. Bookmarking demon is still a great tool if you know how to work it.

The biggest gripe i have with BMD is it should have came with it's own private proxy so that you can hide your ip when it does it's thing. It gives you the option to setup premium ones. Also, the recaptcha credits are useful for auto filling captcha forms if you don't like all that manual labor of entering those as well.

As far as I know bookmarking demon is a good tool for bookmarking but as you've said you have encountered problems in dealing with it. Maybe you could give it time to see how it works and don't just based on reviews cause people has its own point of view.

If you have only one website or post like once a week, I would recommend doing it manually or using sites like Onlywire or Ping.fm

However, I use the combination Scrapebox and BMD, get your proxies with Scrapebox and use them in BMD. Also BMD will tell you if proxies are showing your real IP address. A very nice functionality.

You can scrape new Pliggs with scrapebox and add them in BMD.

I usually create 5 accounts for the main pliggs and 1 account for the lower PR sites. (make sure you enable captcha when creating accounts)

When Bookmarking, Only do captcha submitting to main sites and then their is a setting to bypass captcha in the preference tab. use it to post to lower PR sites. Always use proxies or you will get banned for you IP and could be submitted to a spammer DB.

Cool software if you have lots of bookmarking to do.

Take a few hours to learn how to actually use the program, but don't spam the hell out of everything and then act surprised when your accounts are banned, the point is to move just under the radar.

Any automation program can help if used properly, but no application is a silver bullet to all situations.

It depends on what you are looking for. I use it on regular basis and have good results. True that many of the sites will be lower and not have all of the traffic that you are looking for, but you will still get some and it will also help when you are working on getting indexed. To know if you wasted your money, only you can decide that after giving it a shot.
