WordPress new posts usually get indexed withing a few hours, even within a few minutes, thanks to the WordPress built-in ping feature, as you can see at Why Search Engines Love WordPress | SEO Desk |

what's the difference of "getting indexed" vs "getting ranked" indexed I take it JUST means google knows who you are and your site. BUT, you will be on page 112,342 for your keyword. I've been trying like mad to get ranked for Run Trump Run! and it shouldn't be hard, how do I check? alexa? where? thanks for the tips guys, ill try those plugins |

call me crazy, but cant you just type in your domain name in google and hit enter and you should come up or anything else for that matter that has to do with your domain, affiliate sites, blogs, posts, articles, etc? if you type your domain into google search and nothing comes up, you got problems. When I check cubestat.com it says "0" indexed. Im confused |

question about indexing...once it's indexed how often does it get checked for updates? Like if i had a site become indexed one day, updated it the next day, would it be instantly re-checked or would I have to do the indexing thing again?

There are two ways of doing it. You can set it up only to be posted by Amplify.com - that's the first way. The second way, which I highly recommend is to sign up for all the web 2.0 sites that Amplify.com auto-posts to (there's about 15 of them). The set up is a one-time deal. From there on, every time you click that Amplify button, it not only posts to Amplify, but also to all those other sites simultaneously. | |

| Every time you update/add new pages, you should always ping them (using a free ping service like pingomatic.com). That way your updates get picked up by Google way quicker.

| Word to Reddit, great resource. Every time I've used onlywire I've been disappointed, because when I go to the sites it says it submitted to, 8 times out of 10, it didn't post. That's why I love Amplify, as it posts to most of the sites that Onlywire would if it actually worked.

Thanks. I haven't used amplify before but I'll definitely check it out. Will it help to index virtually any page?
