You increase PR hopefully by doing many things. Basically improving your website by gaining quality backlinks from other high PR webpages.. unique content, content that the masses want to see.. the professionalism of your website can help. But i think the most important factor is to be organic and natural.. and be attractive to natural visitors that are genuinely interested in your topic, or product.

You people know that google officially dropped PR from webmaster area? and now importance of PR is no more.

Hunt for traffic links - rather than just going after the PR - increase backlinks count - and traffic - PR will yield you nothing.

No update in Page rank. Some say they won't be updating it any more. others say they saw an update earlier this month. I say.......oh well, who cares!

Google arn't updating PR as frequently as they used to do.

They updated in Jan 2011 -the update before that was April 2010. So you've got a long, long wait till the next update, especially as they are more concerned with other things (like issuing a Panda algo change practically every month!)
