Some people don't even use software... I believe 99% of the programs out there are useless longterm. I have tried quite a few, haven't tried xrumer, but have not been satisfied with any programs yet.

There are a lot of great tools out there that will save you time, but there is no magic bullet if that is what you are looking for. I usually recommend that new IM'ers do not buy any tools until they start making some money. You can get by with just a domain name, hosting account, and Aweber to start. Once you start making some money, then look for tools that will save you time doing the things you are already doing manually. |

Scrapebox, Xrumer, Senuke X - paid toolsKeyword tool (from Google) - the best free tool ![]() They will do the job but I won't recommend them (paid tools) if you are starting with SEO. The best way to learn is to do it by hand at start. You will learn how all of this works and then use those tools to get more job done in shorter time Of course you can just go there and buy them, learn how to use them good and earn money. If you want free social bookmarking service than you could use this: Social bookmarking service. Fast tagging and posting to all major social websites - SocialMarker.com Also you could just outsource the link creation part and focus on creating new websites/products and getting most of the traffic you get to the website. |

For getting top rank in google search, there are a lot of strategies to be follow up. I have list here only some tips about the quality of the post which move the site on top of google search page. Use Keywords of the article within first few words of your title tag. Use target key-phrase in Meta Description of article. Atmost just use 3-5 words in your URL, with atleast 1 keywords included in that. Use proper description by placing the keywords as file name and alt tag for images in the articles and also always maintain Search Engine Friendly Image Size. Use Italics for “names of anything” and Use bold <b> tag for important notes and keywords. Make sure you use atleast one Keyword must be placed in <b> and </b> The most targeted, relevant as well as competitive article should have a link from every other page of your blog.(which must be inclined anchored the Keywords for best results) Focus at least one strong keyword for each and every post(very relevant and relatively competitive) and one specific. Focusing on same keyword for 2 or more posts will give the moral boosting if you have interlinked those posts perfectly. The Most Important aspect is to remember that you are writing for people not for search engines. So, never over-do SEO by bolding all keywords, or placing <h1> or <h2> tags by crossing the limits which ultimately results in sandboxing of the blog/website. Use your creativity and never keep SEO in mind while writing posts just make sure the keywords are at the right places during the time of proof reading you post. WordPress has few good plugins which help you define your site architecture very well which in turn. |

I also am a student of seo. Lately I've been researching, trying to find out about the latest Google algorithm change. Seems ridiculous that one website makes a change and it affects the entire internet/world. Oh to have that kind of power! Anyhoo, I think what's key is to initially concentrate on your on-page seo. Really get it tight. Then you will need fewer backlinks. I have scrapebox and I find it tedious to use. Some will say that's ridiculous but I do. I'd rather build a website and add lots of useful, self-generated content than loading up an article with 4 or 5 synonyms for every 4th word and get a bunch of proxies and blah blah blah. Sounds old school, really. I just feel like I'm not really contributing anything of value when I spin an article 5 different ways and it essentially all means the same thing and is a bit odd looking at times. Enough about that. I think we need to concentrate on the on-page seo more now, than before the latest Google change. Remember the Google-bot is almost becoming artificial-intelligence with the team of coders working on it constantly. Ultimately, the best content sites will rise to the top. My 2.3 cents. Cheers, Tony. |

think about it? Whats the surest way to getting on the front page for your keywords? Well, how about looking at the sites that are there where you want to be NOW? See how their content is setup and then look at the links they are getting. Don't get on the endless tool circus. The way to rank requires no great tools. In fact get stuck in the automatic software mill and you will never settle down to what really works - doing what I said above. It gives you a blueprint on how to rank for any term not just the weak competition searches that those links give you juice to rank for.

The OP does have a domain title and hosting account as referred to in 'multiple sites'. Now it's on to promoting those sites and the question is legitimate- what products will make that job easier. I do think that the best way to learn is to do the first one by hand to see what is involved. Then ,with this knowledge, you can better evaluate time-saving tools.

I don't use any of the supposed "must have" software programs. Instead of building 1,000s of websites at one time, I build on solidly with good onsite SEO, usually on the WP platform, add some articles I have written or rewritten myself, then hand submit backlinks to the articles social bookmarks and RSS feeds. I keep posting new content at least weekly. Ihave a handful of people I will outsource some external link building to, all my backlinks seem to stick from these sources, and I continue to climb in the rankings. |

Its all about high quality links too, far too many people overlook that actual power of high pagerank links in their portfolio. They'll go after link wheels/pyramids/stars and a bunch of other different "designs" and spend hundreds per blast. Sure those will help rankings but if you want to see some serious movement and great positioning you need high pagerank links, better yet if they are from the homepage. I hate to be "plugging" my network but its by far the best out there and has helped me get some very nice rankings. I also blend in the normal SEO activities as well and it works like gangbusters. |
