Hi Warriors! I'm confused. ![]() One of my sites completely dropped off Google around 3 or 4 weeks ago. This was reflected in my Webmasters account, in my Analytics and in Market Samurai. (I wondered if I had been penalised. But I am ranking quite highly now for some long tail keywords in my niche, just not my main keyword, so maybe I haven't been?) Needless to say, today, over the last few days Webmasters is reporting that the site is getting approximately 400 - 500 impressions a day. This is far higher than when the site was on the first page of google for my main search term - (before the drop off). I was also getting clicks then. My main keyword records 5,500 in the last month period with 323% increase change. It is recording 150 clicks in the last month period, but <10 for the long tail keywords. I am not getting any clicks or very few and MS for my main keyword is recording nothing or very low rank. I am really confused. Is webmasters accurate? Why am I not getting any clicks!? Oh, just to say, I am in the UK and the keyword is very much a US/global one. It is hardly searched for here in the UK at all. I am obviously using google.co.uk to see my rank, that and MS. Any advise would be really appreciated. Many thanks. Clojo |

The thing is I have always been under the impression the Google Webmasters, gives you a pretty accurate view of your site. Is this not the case? If not what is the point in using webmasters? I certainly seems to give a fairly accurate view on my other sites that I have. It is just this one that seems to be amiss. I agree MS is great for ranking and seo competition etc, but I am confused with this latest conflict in data. |
