This may belong in the product reviews, but I'm not looking for an opinion of Market Samuri, I know the product is great... I downloaded the trial version and was able to do the SEO competition function for 2 keywords, after that, it starts to generate the report, then crashes - I get a windows message that the program has stopped working. Has anyone here had trouble making this program work on Vista? joe |

I just added this sig so I can refer to it in my posts...

Yes I have. Several time in the past 6 weeks when I tried to start Market samurai it would start then a white screen showed up the Market Samurai Has stopped working. It's done this 3 times recently. Market Samurai has a fix but even after I applied their fix it still reported the Samurai has stopped working. I got around it by actually shutting down my laptop and restarting Market Samurai. Sometimes it worked sometimes it didn't. |

Thanks for the feedback, folks! Yet another journey into microsoft hell.... Re-installed Adobe Air, cleaned 9gb off my hard drive, did windows update (93 updates!) tried it with no programs running, closed all the resident (TSR) programs I could, and now, if I only do onsite or offsite fields I can get it to work - I uncheck all the fields but BLP and BLD and run those numbers, then uncheck BLD and BLP and check the onsite fields (keyword in title, keyword in URL, etc.) and I can get the other half of the picture - sometimes. It'll work good enough for now, got lots of work to do and already wasted most of a day with this BS. But if this is the best I can expect, I sure as HELL won't buy the product! Anyone know of a good keyword sniper that works? Thanks, joe |

For some reason, it is not generating keyword suggestion for me anymore. It used to work so well, I think they are broken due to the recent Google update.

Not sure if it is my computer (I have Vista) or Market Samurai but I always have problems with it. Started having problems the moment I purchased it. Worked fine on trial. Often it hangs up or crashes. Now I haven't been able to update for about a month. I've stopped contacting support. They answer but the answers don't work. I also have MNF. It's okay but I like the Rank Tracker on MS. Would like to try something else but can't afford to keep buying. |

No problems at all here. I run it on my vista laptop and my Windows 7 desktop and it works fine every time. Some days it is a little slow, and very occasionally I get a cloud error, but I can live with that considering the power of the program. I just hope they get something sorted quickly to replace the PR/SEO/backlinkchecker since the demise of Yahoo site explorer. I've bought SEO spyglass sine, but to be honest, even after their last backlink checker update to replace the Site Explorer, it still isn't right.

A year ago, Market Samurai was an amazing product. 6 months ago it was ok. These days I find it really hard to use. They just seem to be going downhill and having endless issues. I've been forced to look elsewhere when it comes to keyword research tools. |
