Perhaps you can alternate between your own and ezine as 'extra'. If you don't know, why don't you try it and then let the rest of us know? Could be great content for your sites as well!

We'll I was thinking about trying to use all ezine articles..because I read a post on the forum where a guy is making $16 a day using just ezine articles on one site..but then I worry about Google banning me..just wanted to see if anyone was doing this with success...and have not been banned.

Sure, but not exclusively. Use quality EzineArticles to "supplement" your own unique quality content when you find it. Trust me. It's rare.

Google does not ban for that. Adsense or otherwise.

Look at the answer above.

Don't use it 100%, especially if you use a bunch of them.

Your site will have little value. That hurts.

But, if you need to supplement, use them.

If you use them 100%, you yourself will need to concetrate
on getting visitors. Don't look for any help from google
search results.

If you use ezine articles, you really have to wade through the junk.
There is a lot of junk. Look for longer, more substantial articles.
Not the 200-word-come-see-my-website-junk. Choose wisely.

Don't be afraid to spend money. I myself have bought many unique
articles from writers here. Or spend your own time writing. It's not
as bad as it sounds.

I bought a premade site, stuffed with hundreds of EZA articles. I
just plugged the adsense code. I could not understand why this
site never got in the SERPs, nor never got past PR n/a. I joined this
forum and trashed the whole site, putting unique content. In 6 months
the site was on page one and PR4. True story. I learned my lesson.

To be on the safe side, use a mix of free articles, video posts, unique posts, PLR articles, etc. If you post exclusively free articles, you run the risk of getting the Google duplicate content penalty if it is true.

Not worried about the duplicate content penalty...just want to know that I won't get banned for doing it.

I do also use articles from article directories on my adsense sites, I do not use ezinearticles but I have been using niche article directories for my niche sites like travel and so on and most of the sites are 100% from article directories and the results are quite good I must say.

I don't see any reason why you will be banned by Adsense. I don't think your breaking any Adsense terms by posting articles from free article directories as long as you add the resource box in the end.

Btw, ezinearticles has a limit of articles that you can post in a given year. You better check out their TOS first.

If you do this, make sure to follow EzineArticles' terms of service and leave the original writer's links fully intact.

There's nothing inherently wrong with using article directory content, but I don't think using ONLY that content will do much.

Twenty-five.

Personally I find this a terrible idea for any number of reasons. Google will hate it, EZA will hate it, if your visitors (if you get any) knew they were looking at cloned content they would hate it too. It's just not a long-term model, and I doubt it's a quick-money model either.

I was doing exactly that with a site I started. Then I read that AdSense had decided to be quite strict with sites that provided no value, which is what it comes to when you are just using stuff that is available elsewhere.

I quickly deleted the posts and started again.

Was that true, I don't know for sure. How can you know what Google is going to do, until they do it. But I wasn't going to take any chances.

Based on the information found through the Adsense link you provided, it looks like you can get by with this if:

1. You keep the author and source credit.
2. Add some other original content of value to your reader.
3. Organize it in such a way as to enhance the readers' experience.
5. Oversee the quality of the content you get- not all of EZA are high quality. A few seem to slip by.
6. Keep only the content that is relevant to your site.
7. Add your opinion or summary to the article.

On that last one, for example, let's say your website niche is "getting more miles to the gallon of gas", and you come across an EZA on "Best Driving Tips to Extend Your Gas Mileage". You can put this up on your web page and introduce it with something like:

"We've all heard that our driving habits play a big part in how many miles we can get for each gallon of gas. I came across this great article I want to share with you. This article has some really useful tips that you can use to develop great driving habits and save some moola at the pump."

And then have the EZA follow that.

Well, look at EZA for an example: Many of the articles they have are copies from the websites of the authors. In fact, they even have a plug-in for WordPress sites.

I write on my websites, wait for the page to get indexed by Google and then submit the same article to EZA through the EZA WP plug-in.

EZA makes most of their money from Adsense posted on articles we submit. They haven't been penalized. They were penalized by PANDA but for letting the crap content in, not duplicate content.

hi everybody, i may be a little late on this discussion, but i hope we can delve into this because it's raised alot of points that i was asking, as well.

i appreciate all of the comments already posted, and in particular would like to ask:

how many of you submit articles from your website to ezine with successful results?

i just paid a bundle for some killer content, but had thought it was only going to be for my website.

however, if submitting THE SAME article to something like ezine could help, then i need to know and do it. but i mean the same exact article without having it spun. (i've heard some say spinning the original for submission is what they do, but i'd like to keep the killer content intact)

so, with this killer content, if i add some ezine articles to that website and put adsense on it all, do you agree that it won't be penalizing? or what?

thanks alot!!!

Glue, It looks like you have two questions here...

1. Yes, you can use the same article that you have on your site and submit it to Ezine Articles for publication. It will be published if it complies with EZA terms of service.

Typically, I make a few minor adjustments to the first and last paragraph if the 'call to action' is strong in my article. The EZA should be informative and not blatant in sales, etc. But, otherwise, the content is the same. EZA has no problem with 'duplicate content' as long as you own the original content and have it posted on your own blog only.

2. Yes, you can take articles from EZA and post them to your blog, as long as you adhere to EZA TOS and include the author's resource box, etc.

If your blog has a majority of original and good content, Google is just fine with you having some EZA from other authors on your blog if these articles are consistent with your niche and bring value to the reader.

When publishing other authors' EZA articles on your blog, I would write a small intro to the article explaining how you think this article would benefit the reader. I gave an example of that in a previous post here.

Hope this helps clarify things for you.

Sighle

@ josemanuelchi,

What do you mean? Did EZA reject your article?
