ScrapeBox Install Problem ?

Hi Everyone,

Purchased and downloaded SB, unzipped the folder and double clicked the .exe file - I then filled in the required registration info and clicked on activate.

I understand I now have to wait until I receive notification that my registration has been successful ...

Trouble is though, the SB programme is not showing up under my programme files or via a shortcut link on my desktop.

I'm a bit mixed up as to where the software has actually installed itself now.

Can anyone help ?

A quick thought, should I unzip the zip file contents to a folder within Programs and put a link on my desktop to the .exe file ?

Just can't get my head around where the install I ran has gone ?

Hi Jane,

I believe the program is a self-contained executable that doesn't install as a typical windows application does. Wherever you downloaded it on your computer is where you go to launch it.

So to get it to run, would it be okay to move it into the program folders area and add a desktop link to it ?

Hi Jane,

Sure, you can put it wherever you want and create a shortcut in your start menu. Keep in mind that there are data files that are associated with the program so you need to find a suitable place for those files so you can easily find and access them when needed.
