I just got the following message from Google: During a recent review of your account we found that you are currently displaying Google ads in a manner that is not compliant with our program policies EXAMPLE PAGE: Pictures of Hemorrhoids Needing Treatment | Bloody Poop | Bloody Poop Please note that this URL is an example and that the same violations may exist on other pages of this website or other sites in your network. VIOLATION(S) FOUND: As stated in our program policies, AdSense publishers are not permitted to place Google ads on pages with adult or mature content. In addition to photos and videos which contain nudity or sexual activities, below are some other examples of unacceptable content: * Lewd or provocative images * Crude or indecent language, including adult stories * Sexual tips or advice * Sexual fetish sites (e.g. foot fetish content) * Adult toys or products * Ads or links to external sites containing adult content * Adult links and/or adult keywords within the meta data in the source code of your site ACTION TAKEN: We have disabled ad serving to your site. ...so I am assumming it is because of lewd images but they are medical pictures, What do you think?...now I am worried about my other sites. I have taken the adsense code off that page and checked all my other sites for lewd images and disabled the adsense on those pages which was only one other site..of the same nature..http://pilepictures.net. Is that okay to just remove the affected pages or is the whole site in viloation because of one page? Also do you think it might be something else..like the word "bloody poop"? or even if some of my images are breaking copyright? I dont think they are? I have no adult material or swear words or sex or anything like that in any of my sites...but I am still worried as to what they can find to call a violation? Anybody know the guts of this ? |

Keep in mind that AdSense promotes itself as "family friendly," so any page showing AdSense ads should be safe and appropriate for children. The page you pointed out, while medical in nature, is not appropriate to show to children without parental consent.

It's called pushing the line. The first pic is fine, the rest is borderline. But then why risk borderline? Google will never allow borderline if you get a manual review. They err on the side of caution and tell webmasters to do the same. I think they make it clear not to do what you are doing. You may be interested in this google response to adult content: Play it safe, family-safe - Inside AdSense Ask yourself, is my page appropriate for all ages? Would a 5 year old be comfortable viewing it? Would a parent of a 5 year old be okay with it? Remember, it's not how you personally feel. That's what everyone should not assume: I would let my kids see it, so what's the problem? At least you have a chance to make corrections. A chance is still a chance. Disabled is not banned. Yet. Good advice; I've got a number of sites in health/disease/medical niches, but for any images which could be "questionable", I use "safe" medical diagram type pictures, pictures of charts, drawings, etc.; benign looking images. Peace |

Okay Thanks for your advice guys. I have completely removed it from my hosting and now it is parked domain with adsense. I have also done this to some of my other sites that I think may be "borderline" as paulgl said. However I am unsure about one of my sites http://howtogetmoreviewsonyoutube.info as this has the word "youtube" in it. I have removed it from hosting but do you think it will be okay to put adsense on it if it were a parked domain? |

The good news is that they have given you the opportunity to clean the other sites up instead of terminating your acct entirely. I hope things work out for you.
