Default Why my articles on article directories do nt appear as Do-Folow?

Hello everybody. I got a question.

I posted quite some articles on quite some article directories with the purpose to get traffic and backlinks.

However, when i check the amount of backlinks my site gets, i can not see any of the article directories there.

What may the problem be? Does anybody know?

maybe the articles directories are nofollow... or google still has not crawl them (the articles directories)

You're confused between do-follow and indexed/crawled..totally different things..I suggest you wait for a while. Until google find your article and index them

well, actually i have articles on ezinearticles which as far as i know it is do-follow. they were posted on ezinearticles weeks ago so i do not think it is a problem with the time.

can it be something wrong with my site?

Google may not have indexed it.

Google may not want to count the links.

Just because a link does not have nofollow does not in any way,
shape, or form mean that google will count it.

Instant gratification should be in tandem with hard work getting
high PR backlinks that you know will count.

firefox's "nodofollow" add-on is cool in that it shows you prior to posting whether or not the blog/forum/etc. that you are posting in is a do follow or no follow site. Blue links signifies a do follow while red means no follow.

but yeah, it takes some

For eZineArticles, if your links are in the main body of the text, then they are no-follow.

You should put links to your website in the Author's Resource Box, where they are do-follow.

Since the google panda updates, eZineArticles has been making a number of changes to its requirements. There was a lot of discussion about making all links no-follow.
