If Blog A links a phrase to particular Web page -- let's call that page Example.com/A, that helps Example.com/A in Google's rankings. (We're assuming Blog A is devoted to topics related to the content on Example.com.) From testing, I've also learned that if, in a single posting, Blog A links Search Term #1 to Example.com/A and also links Term #2 to Example.com/B and also links Term #3 to Example.com/C, all 3 of those Example.com pages are helped in their rankings. New scenario: *In a single posting,* Blog A links Search Term #1 to Example.com/A, Search Term #2 to Example.com/A and Search Term #3 to Example.com/A. My question: Does anyone know for sure if Google would see and count all 3 backlinks? Or would 3 backlinks to the same page but linked to different phrases cancel each other out? |
