Default Is Godaddy helping Google Footprint Your Autoblogs?

Quote:
The problem I experienced is that GoDaddy partnered with Google so they claim and so as a GoDaddy hosting customer, the Google verification file, which looks like google1111111.html gets automatically generated by GoDaddy and inserted into your GoDaddy hosted domains without any knowledge or approval by the site owner. - Source
And I noticed this on my sites as well. Godaddy submits all my sites automatically to the same Google Webmaster Tools account and I have no way of deleting the account.

This is very dangerous if you are running autoblogs cause you can get all of your websites banned from Google (including your white hat sites). All they would need to do is find just 1 bad site connected to your webmaster tools account and all of your sites would be banned.

Are There any other web hosts that have partnerships with Google like this?

So it means to say that if you are involved with auto-blogging or content farming, never use GoDaddy. thanks for bringing this thing up here...

Not just autoblogging.

It also informs Google that you are creating your own backlinks because your sites are connected through Google Webmaster Tools. So links under the same Godaddy account would be discounted even if you have different C-Class Ip addresses.

Black Hat on just one website could get all of your websites deindexed.

You could have a blog that was hacked and it could end up getting all your websites under Godaddy deindexed.

Well if the godaddy/google story is true, i would definitely stay away from godaddy. I wouldn't want google track all the data of my sites and that is why i don't use analytics.

I never recommend Godaddy for they sucks. They only know how to advertise their product.Their customer support is very horrible.I am not surprised that they are submitting their own customers site, because they treat them like that always.

If you are on Godaddy e-mail them and tell them to delete your Google Webmaster Tools account.

I think not only for auto-blogging but also for other methods, too.

No offence guys but godaddy's hosting is the pits anyway and you shouldn't be hosting sites with them in the first place

Then again...there's always PPC ;)

Can you imagine their next advertising campaign. I think union of both these giant market players will hit the marketing world very speedily. I won't surprise when next time Godaddy's girls swap their t-shirts for Google.
