A question about bookmarks as backlinks..

Do you still rely heavily on bookmarking to get backlinks?

In your opinion, do bookmarks still pass good link juice to your articles considering the recent Google algorithm changes?

I just ask because I'm planning on doing heavy bookmarking of my articles. I don't want to waste my time if bookmarking, as they say, is not that effective as before..

Anyone using OnlyWire?

yes, bookmarking can still pass good link juice to your articles. social bookmarking is a good tool for seo work. you can easily draw many traffic by social bookmarking. so do not be tensed to use bookmarking technique.

They are useful, but I do not rely on them too heavily.

Bookmarking is still useful.And only wire is good for bookmarking,except one problem that same keyword used for a url it replaces old bookmark sometimes.
Manual is always good to do.

Use Onlywire Submitter
Use WPing.FM
Finally, bookmark your site to all those services on Social bookmarking service. Fast tagging and posting to all major social websites - SocialMarker.com
Then submit the site to the top 20 web 2.0 site like hubpages, blogger, wordpress, livejournal, squidoo and remaining 15, I guess you know them.

The combination is so powerful for SEO that it will smash straight up for the first page ranking in less than 2 weeks

Bookmarking to sites like Digg, reddit, mixxi an news vine could definitely give you a backlink for these sites are very popular besides of backlinks these sites could give you a direct traffic as long as you manage to use an interesting title for your bookmark.

Some times the reddit is good, while some times it doesn't coz it is too popular and the admin will delete some links and bookmarks. I also use jumptag.com, it is very stable and helping new pages to be indexed.

I find bookmarks invaluable for getting links indexed quickly instead of waiting for google to come find them which may be some time. It does also help the page the link is coming from to drop some bookmarks.

Social bookmarking is a very good way. But using the tools is not good thing.Always manual bookmarking is a effective way to do bookmarking.
