If a site disappears and fresh content and backlinks are being added to the site regularly, how many days it takes to reappear? I know exact days cannot be determined but roughly how many days? This is I do regularly to my site: (Before and after it disappear) 1. one self written 400+ article post- Book mark with Digg, Reddit, IMautomator, Ping.fm and SocialBot (IncanBot) 2. Check for the content if it indexed at Google (indexing takes 3-4 hours), then submit the article (same version-non spin) to few article directories, then mass submission using ArticleBot (one link pointing to inner page). 3. Submit the article to FTS (free version) back link pointing to home page as well as inner pages. 4. Make a video and upload to Youtube. With an url link with no anchor text in the 'Description'. 5. At least 10 blog commenting (on topic relevant comment after reading the post). However, I do not confine on my niche to find blogs to comment. This allows me to get higher PR, edu even gov blogs to comment. 6. Distribute to content sharing sites (occasionally) I am doing this so far. Is there anything I should add? Will my site return back after disappearing from 12th position a month and half ago? |

Based on my experience... When I was initially building backlinks to my site, I got as high as page 4, and then Google and I did the tango and left me on page 10, and then page 13. Based on the advice here I kept sending backlinks and between 1 to 2 weeks, I found myself on page 8. So from my experience a month and a half seems like a long time. I continue to send backlinks and currently I'm on page 6 as #59. Plus I ordered a WSO which should be helping me pretty soon. I'm sorry to hear you cannot find your site after being at the #12 position. |

I've had sites vanish for a week or two and more recently one of my sites went right off the radar for about a month. It came back to page 1 last week though, and all I did was carry on building links as usual. That would be my advice, don't worry about it too much, just keep building links and doing what you were doing.

3 days ago I was in the top five spots on google for a few competitive keywords and was in this position for several months. Now I am nowhere to be found for those keywords but the site is still indexed. I think this is more than the "Google Dance" because multiple KWs are involved. I still rank pretty high for other keywords. I was thinking that I might have been penalized by google for fairly aggressive backlinking. Based on what you say I think I will try to be patient and keep doing what I'm doing. Thanks again | |
