You can use Ubot to automate the link building process but it require a considerable learning process. Other option is SENuke!

Here is what I think, If you want people to link to your site, the easiest way to achieve this is to write genuinely unique and interesting content that others will naturally want to link to it. Moreover, this natural linking is the only truly worthwhile linking. Reciprocal links are of little or no value and it's not recommended to devote time or money chasing them.

Do everything you can to improve the information and content on your site so that your website visitors will sit up and take notice of it; telling others about it. Update your site regularly. Publish a regularly updated blog, or frequent news articles. Ensure there's a reason to link to your site, and a reason to revisit it. If you do this, the links will come without any further encouragement from you.

If you want to do it yourself, I would say Scrapebox. It takes some time to master, but when you know what to do you will get so many good links on almost autopilot.

The other option is outsourcing. Hire a Virtual Assistent for $1 per hour and let him/her do the linking for you..

There are lots of ways you can do this.
At the moment I am trying out:

Article Marketing Robot , ABC Plugin and 3waylinks.net.

All seem to be working pretty well and are giving me some nice link diversity.
