|  How do I ping my backlinks?
I hear this term alot , can anyone explain this process to me?

Often people prefer to let the search engines find their backlinks naturally. But you can ping your site or backlinks with a variety of online services such as Ping O Matic and Ping.In

Hey Dmreed4311, When you produce a backlink, there's no guarantee the search engines will actually see it. For example, if you've set up a forum backlink that's located on an inner page. It may never get seen. What you need to do is force the search engines to see your link by placing the link somewhere the search engines crawl often. I use Ping.fm / Update all of your social networks at once! This is great for getting your backlinks crawled by the search engines. You can get some more info from here Hope that helps? |

I think pinging will help Search Engine find your site or pages quickly then indexed them. You can ping your site here: Blog and Ping Tool - Use Pingler.com to Drive Traffic your Blogs and Websites also. I usually don't bother pinging them, mine get indexed usually within 1 day. |

Oh I forgot to add. I wouldn't ping the crap out of your main site. I heard you could get your site ban from Search Engine. maybe just once, if you have wordpress, you can add a plugin that will auto ping for you safely. Like desmond11 said, do it to backlinking sites.

Hi desmond 11 and Maine coon Just bought 500 backlinks and was advised to ping them now and then but have no idea how to do this or how to find out if they have been found any videos yyou have helpful you could wizz over cheerss |

There are lots of free service tools that you can use to ping your site or pages, but i think submitting your website through social bookmarking will also help your site's pages index faster. Always remember it doesn't mean that the search engine crawls your site or pages it is indexed, it will take time to index that fresh content or links.
