If I'm doing an article marketing campaign and sending people to my blog, how many longtail keywords should I be using if I am writing about 2 articles a day for 30 days? Right now I have about four very good longtail keywords, but how many times can I use them? Can I write several different articles using the same long tail keyword? Just add some extra words to the title and use different content in the article? Thanks in advance! |

And it is ok to only use these 2-3 longtail keywords for 50-60 articles?? If I keep using the same longtail keywords, should I just make my titles different for each? for example, if my longtail keyword is: natural ways to get rid of acne Should one of my titles be: 3 of the Best Natural Ways to Get Rid of Acne And another title be: Natural Ways to Get Rid of Acne at Home As long as my longtail keyword is in my title, and body I should be good? |

h1 tag alt tag image name backlink the long take keyword as anchor a lot in related pages. if you get high PR niche sites, good. of not, just anchor/text your longtail keyword to point to your website.

Have I been doing this all wrong? I thought you should only use a keyword (long-tail or not) as the main keyword on one page of a site, then maybe sprinkle it in throughout other pages if it fits.

Personally I would focus on getting 1 article into the #1 spot for the targeted long tail rather than spending time creating a lot of articles optimised for the same long tail. Once you are happy with the traffic it is producing I would then find other article directories and web 2.0 properties to try and get more exposure on the front page. Spend more time on creating content for your own site and for promoting your existing content. If you are trying to get traffic to a landing page that will struggle getting organic results then rather than focusing on the same long tails, focus on finding brand new long tails.
