I have few questions about article submission:

1. Do you spin main site articles, or write new articles for spinning?
2. What is the best software for article spinning and submission?
3. What are the best directories to submit articles to?
4. How many backlinks do you use per article, and do they contain same anchor text?
5. Is article marketing still effective after Google's algorithm update?

I use article marketing robot along with the best spinner and get GREAT results using it. That is not all I do of course, but that really helps the ranking. For a recent site I launched I jumped to page one for some keywords after JUST an AMR blast. Make sure to spin your articles very well at sentence + paragraph level.

Hi liovvoil,

I always write new articles instead of having them spinned from existing ones. I find it easier to write new articles from scratch than to have them spinned. I don't use article spinning and submission software so I couldn't answer your second question.

As for your third question, there are several article directories to which you can submit your articles to. Two of the most popular are ezinearticles.com and articlesbase.com.

For backlinks, I think 2 or 3 may be allowed (not sure). In ezinearticles.com, you cannot place your links on the article body. You are only allowed to put links on the resource boxes.

Article marketing may still work even after Google Panda but it may no longer bring the same results as before.

You can spin your article as many times as you want but the uniqueness must be available in your article.Secondly,you can submit your article to many article directory sites like ezine articles,go articles and so many.Give 2 or three link in your article otherwise it decreases the importance of the article.

1. It depends on the reason why you submit the article. If the only reason is backlinking, spinning is fine. If you want traffic you need some more quality.

4. If you mean how many links u use in the article, Then use 2 links for each 500 words max. Link to different pages with different keywords.

Ok, I think that it is best to write original articles and then have then rewritten in spin format. For example if you want to have 2 rewrites you could have three columns in MS Word whereby column 1 will have the original article, columns 3 and 4 will be rewrites the use use spin syntax code {originalsentence|rewrite1|rewrite2}.

I personally think that the best spinner is good for article spinning and some of the best article submission directories are ehow.com, ezinearticles.com, articlebase.com, hubpages.com and squidoo.com

No. I've never seen a spinner that could write as well (or as fast) as I can. Even most of the people who claim that spinning works also admit that they have to tweak the articles before they publish them. To me, it's a whole lot easier and faster to rewrite something manually.

It depends. The list of the top 50 that nossie posted is a great start. I would recommend trying out several of the top ones and see which ones you like, and which ones bring you the most success. I probably tried out a dozen different directories when I started out. Some took far too long to approve my articles; others didn't generate a whole lot of results; others were great.

It depends on the terms of service of the directory. Some directories allow you to put links right in your article; others only let you put links in your resource box. Before you publish anything, read the TOS and make sure you're complying with it.

Generally, I will put 2-3 links in my articles - and the keywords depend on what pages I'm targeting.

Absoultely!

Many of the article directories are "on their guard" since the Panda update - which means they are being more picky about the articles that they accept. In fact, the Panda update is another reason to avoid spinning. The odds of you being able to get a spun article accepted now, in my opinion, have probably gone down, as editors and directories try to get back in Google's good graces.

Well, the idea of spinning is to get unique content of the article to prevent the dup. filter of Google. I do use a couple, PM for details.

I will answer no. 5: Yes, article marketing is still effective. The only affected by the new Google algorithm are duplicate articles. For better effectiveness, make a unique and good quality articles.
