Hello friends. I am a newbie in town, errrrr.......... in this forum . I want to start a career in doing SEO and data extraction. I would like to know which is the best software that covers all the aspects of doing optimizing work on a website so that it will show in the top 5 positions in all the major and minor but important search engines.

since you are new don't go for a software now. Do some manual stuff first and after understanding the picture buy software if necessary

I would personally go with webceo or seo power suite but first start doing the things manually.
You need to understand the process first.

Ok here are some suggestions…As a newbie, you will do well to start the manual way. Still, here are some SEO tools you could check out. Business Promoter is a website promotion software tool. IBP helps you in achieving high search engine rankings and it is always up-to-date and helps you optimize your web pages for the latest search engine algorithms. Apart from providing customized tips for on-page optimization, it submits your website to major search engines automatically and monitors your website rank.

Web CEO is a comprehensive SEO software suite. Apart from SEO, it assists in overall website promotion. It has a smart user interface that helps to automate most of the repetitive tasks & encourages you to adopt a more structured approach towards search engine marketing.

SEO Elite, Bryxen Software, is also a good SEO Tools. It has a well thought out User Interface. However, you would need basic knowledge of Internet Marketing to fully exploit it’s advanced features. It helps you create multiple link pages for exchanging links, submits your article on major directories automatically and analyzes the density of your target keywords on your website.

Using software in start for SEO is not a good practice. Better to it first manually for better results.

lol the title of the thread drew me right to it haha.

Anyway, don't use software if you're just starting. Gain some practice and experience first.

Great tools mentioned here! I will also check a few of them out! but yes, manually helps to get the system down and an understanding of the process.

As a newbie, try to stick with generic SEO methodologies in order to be in safe band, once you have got complete charge over it and has got full understanding for its terminologies, then you can opt for SEO software tools or equipments.

Regards.

I would do it manually at the begging to get a feel for it and understand where the data comes from and how it helps or hinders a site rankings

faceblogger is right. First is to understand the basic of it, master it manually or at least you get hang of it before using software.

What you want to really focus on is finding high quality backinks to link back to your site.
I sent you a pm with a book that shows you how to do this.

All the best.
