I never submit my 'unique' content from the money site to any article directories just to be safe.

For article marketing I write 1 article that isn't on my money site and spin it using The Best Spinner then use a program like Article Marketing Robot to drip submit it to hundreds of article directories over the next few weeks.

Make sure you put at least 1 or 2 links somewhere in the article (obviously) so you can get credit for it when it's published, try to use keyword rich anchor text at least in the resource box to get the most benefit from it.

Social media shares, likes, and links do positively impact your rankings. If you share content that people enjoy and reshare with their friends posting your content to social media sites will be helpful.

The main point here need to consider in case of ranking is that content should be unique.. Hence, if you change the article content often, then it is better.

To answer your question about post a single article in multiple directories, do not put an exact copy of the same article on your blog or website that is also on other article directories. The search engines will see this as duplicate content.

They may not penalize you for because of this but it will affect your ranking because the search engines will not know where the original content came from and so it will dilute the effectiveness of your blog content.

You certainly can use the same articles on your site and submit them to article directories, but there's a secret.

1. Post them to your own site first.
2. Wait until Google indexes the article.
3. Then submit it to as many places as you can.

This will give your site first-indexing for that article, which Google will remember every time it spots it on other sites.

Think about it. If you submit to article directories and someone picked up those articles, that would be a problem using your thinking. But Google knows how things work - articles get reproduced a lot. So just make sure the one on your site gets indexed first.

To find out if it's indexed, wait about 3 days and then enter your article title or about 8 words from the content of the article into the search field of Google. If your article is listed under your site, it's indexed. If it's not listed, wait another few days and check again.

You can submit your article to as many directories as you want and that # should be as many as you can. You want people to find your content right?

You can also submit content that is already on your site, just wait for it to get indexed on your site first. You can also submit content to Ezine that is already on your site...

The real benefits rely on the quality of your content. A couple hundred links from directories is good, but a few links from well-maintained blogs is much better. You want to submit to more directories not just for those initial backlinks, but also so that more webmasters will find your content and publish it on their sites. Write 700-1,500 word articles that are non-promotional in nature for best results.

The goal is wide-spread syndication that brings you targeted traffic AND increases your ranking in the SERPs.

Place the links of your website in author info/resource box as some article submission sites allow the links in author info/resource box.

Then there must be some other reason why they won't accept your articles, because I do this all the time - submit to various article databases before I get to EA, and even on my own site first. Their biggest concern is that the article is not plagiarized.... a good reason to use one pen name rather than an alias when submitting articles to more than one directory.

Can you show me where EA's guidelines indicate that the submissions must be unique to their site?

Usually the more websites submitted to, the better results too would be achieved because a lot of people would be viewing your articles and making clicks on the authors backlinks provided at the ending parts of contents.

It is usually said that the kinds of links acquired through submitting articles might not seem as efficient as they used to be a few years ago but from traffic generating aspects, they are still wonderful.

You can post your article as much as you can, as long as you have a list of article submission sites, you can submit your articles as long as you want. And yes, it will be useful if you will share your article's link on social networking sites.
