Aren't forum links worthless though if they aren't niche related forums? Alexa said that a link on a relevant high PR site is worth about 50,000 profile links.

These are about to get hit by countless marketers, unfortunately.

Plus, I think the best way to use forums is to find a handful related to your niche, become an active, helpful member, and include your website in your sig. You'd be surprised how much traffic you can generate just from signatures if you post in a handful of active forums.

In fact, this is one of my favorite ways to build a targeted list without spending anything.

I agree. Forum sig helps you to attract more traffic. Because for Searchengines this signatures are very weak

This is the best advice in this thread I feel. I would hate to be one of the listed forum owners who will no doubt have dozens of Warrior members hitting their sites with nothing more than a cheap link in mind. It's a spammy approach to build out inbound links and really puts strain on forum administrators to create a valuable site and community when they are having to firefight spammers.

If you are using these sites to contribute valuable information to then that's a completely admirable reason to use them. If you're after a cheap link on them then you should consider how worthless this forum would be if it was mass spammed and all of the useful information within it was diluted by people who are not willing to contribute to the communities which they are trying to develop.

Nice list, do-follow forums are always appreciated, although no-follow forums are considered by the search engines, they don't pass the same amount of link juice as do-follow forums
