How do I know if I have nofollow on or off on my wordpress blog, and is it better to have it on or off. This website is a content website that isn't really about money it is more about getting things in the real world because I am press for a niche. |

Use SEOquake and enable line through nofollow. That's the best and least obtrusive way to check iMO.

yeh... some plugin called share the love, or linklove or something.... but you dont want to do that. and turn off comments altogether, use the facebook comment box plugin. you'll get more traffic  Quote:

There is no follow links it is just a simple backlinks and its' categorized by Google.

There will be a setting in Wordpress for it I would say, but I don't use wordpress at the moment, but its easy to tell if the links are nofollow or dofollow using the add-on in firefox.

How exactly Google treats Nofollow links is open to discussion, but I can assure you they crawl them and index them.

It's a preference. If you want no follow links on your blog it will just not allow other websites to increase their pagerank when they have links on your website.

You can check from the view source of the coding that your website or blog is nofollow or dofollow

throw your seo manual away and get a new one. i've proven over and over again google does NOT index a page if it has a nofollow on it. the ONLY time a page will get indexed is if you have a link to that page. Quote:
