Arrow Beginning an SEO Campaign for the first time

Hi everyone

I have my first big client SEO campaign about to kick off, and just wanted to ask how many backlinks a month from various sources (not BH) is safe for a new domain. With all the latest G Algo changes, I just need to try and be a sure as possible before we start.

Thanks everyone

Don't only look at the number of backlinks. Backlink quality is important than quantity

Tens of factors could be playing online, heavily affecting your SEO campaign such as the age of your website which still seems to be a determining element when it comes to getting top ranks in competitive niches.

The number of websites targeting your niche too could affect the number of links your website needs in the course of time. If you can, attempt to get a lot of links from quality sources, the blogs, forums, websites and profiles which are related to your web niche.

SEO takes time, just do 10-20 every day to start first, You don't want to too aggressive or you may end up in the "sand-box"/

Also try targeting some long tail keyword if your site is new. Use Facebook and twitter to generate traffic at start.,

A successful SEO campaign relies on content; content is the king when it comes to good traffic and a successful website. You need to make sure you can set aside enough time to write articles, press releases and blogs, because to get to the top of your game you need to work so hard on content writing and producing quality information. Many people overlook the importance of good content in an SEO campaign, thinking that a few links and Twitter posts is all you need, but, sadly, this is so far from the truth its unreal.
