I would start of with the very basics: directory submissions and social bookmarks. You can get both for less than $75. Then you could also choose a few charged directories and you're off to a very good start. If you want to invest everything without doing nothing I would recommend you to pay that money to an freelancer who could do this job for you. Try the "Warrior For Hire" section. You will find plenty of freelancers out there ready to do the job for you.

Is that your total budget for the project? At what point in the SEO process are you at? Scrapebox to start. It helps with almost everything you'll be doing long term. After that it gets more complicated and up to personal choice. |

I would do article backlinks, web 2.0 and blog comments before I would do directory and social bookmarks. Directory can be done for about $5 and social is a little bit more expensive for follow links.
