How to select Best SEO company or SEO firm?

How can i select best SEO company for my business growth? I have been trying out many companies. But m not satisfied with that. plz guide me

I run an SEO agency and I'll tell you that there are a lot of bad apples out there. Having done a lot of competitor research, there is an incredible amount of bs floating around. Be VERY careful before you start with an agency.

The main problem with SEO is exactly what you are getting is somewhat hidden. There is a lot of stuff hidden in the shadows which SEO companies keep to themselves (exact nature of link building combinations etc). The best thing to do is go through personal recommendation from someone who has used an SEO agency before.

The issue as well with asking on some of forums and indeed googling SEO reviews or something like that is the majority of recommendations have some kind of financial incentive attached and/or are completely false.

In general look at their past clients, ask them very specific questions and ask for references from the client (don't accept a testimonial on the seo company's website). Contact these past clients and ask for their opinion. Speak to someone on the phone, check out their knowledge of SEO. Ask for a proposal (the details are important, not the shiny presentation). Don't commit to a long term contact (even if they offer discount).

it is 100% outsourced business so I suggest you find freelancers rather than a company. well at least it is much cheaper and you can control the overall process. use sites like freelancer.com
your main task at that point is to find guys who can supply one-way backlinks. never pay for the submission - pay only for backlinks! hope that helps

I would recommed you to chose freelancers instead of companies. Companies are very expensive when it comes to seo. Try to have a look on the "Warriors For Hire" section. You will find good freelancers out there that can do the job for you.

Check past clients, check their methods, get as much info as you can get.

i thought you have to select those company who do white hat technique and before selecting this company just check its project status of another client.

Before consider final company for the seo. You should review their project and their SEO technique either they are promoting their client website with a white hat method and they know all about the panda updates release.

That is absolutely false. You are referring to backlink services (mostly profile and comment blasters) that call themselves SEOs not full fledge SEO services run by professionals. The only outsourcers I use are writers if I have a need for some additional content.
