Yep, Another One Who Got Banned From Adwords. Stick with Adwords Or Alternative?

I used my Adwords account a few years back on a couple of websites. In March 2008, I paused my campaigns and stopped using the account.

Now that I have a new product, I planned to use Adwords. So I login... and discover that my account is suspended!

I read and re-read the terms and conditions... can't see what I've done wrong, I haven't even been using Adwords for crying out loud! I emailed them and got a canned response.

I've discovered that this is very common on Google's behalf and I've basically got no hope of getting my account back.

SO... I figure I've got two options.

1. Open a new Adwords account. I'd have to use a new debit card and address, new IP address, new domains, did I miss anything? My only problem is... I've put my website on Google Analytics (same account that my banned Adwords is on). Even if I take it down... will they still put two and two together and suspend my new account?

2. Use a different PPC. What's out there? What do you reccomend? Is it as good as Adwords?

there is phone support but with your account suspended you may not have access to it. I was on the phone with them the other day starting my first AD words account. I've been running AdSense for years.

The reps I talked to when setting up my ad words account... I must say... Were pretty embarrassing as far as being able to open up my account and get it sorted out. Everyone has this huge impression of Google including me. So when I contact them I was like... THIS.. is GOOGLE???

anyway try to get that phone number and they will probably sort you out. Unless you were perceived to be doing something deceptive. One of the things I found out when I talked to a manager finally is that people over the last few years have been aggressively opening multiple accounts for the same domain in an effort to monopolize AD words coverage. so you may have been algorithmically and an can get it lifted if you can talk to someone human.
