Do NOT try to play with google when it comes to Adsense. Believe me that they will find it no matter how 'smart' your attempts are. Always use the natural visitor clicks for any testing with adsense! |

That will never work! The Ads fluctuate every single page load, makes no sense to try this. Do some real split testing with real traffic, for at least a week (longer is better). |

Whether your friend does it or you do it it is fraud. If you don't get caught is the negative karma worth it? I would suggest you rethink this plan.

Don't click your own ads and don't tell other people to click them. No matter what you think you've got up your shelve, you're not gonna trick Google.

Yes, you should listen to the advice above and don’t conduct that sort of testing as this is clearly a violation of Google Adsese terms and condition.

Go ahead and do it, Darwinianism will do the rest... What is the POINT in testing earnings models when you don't have any traffic?! This is typical for new people, obsessing about monetising instead of actually working on their site and promoting it. Take ALL the ads off and focus on your site. The way you are going now is destined for failure in every possible way and just part of that is getting banned from Adsense. |

don't do it is more ways to track the computer then the IP address. Cookies, Mac address, OS, and a bunch of other factors can add up to say that you are the same person. The best way to test which you are seeking is to just run a for week one way and then run it another way for another week. |

Be careful with what you do on google adsense. I lost my account for too many clicks. (well, that is what they said) However, my site had been down and inoperative for over two months at that time. It was a nonworking site. But the claim was that I had someone click for me and it cost me not only my account but the money I had worked hard to get. I was canceled one day before payday time. Don't mess with the big boys. |

Hi! Don't try this again google adsense store your computer MAC address at the time of registration so if you click on your own ads then google trace you and may be google suspended your account in that case because this is against the policies of google adsense. If you want clicks on your google adsense ads then use traffic exchange website It increase traffic on your website .You definitely get clicks on your ads when your website got huge traffic. |

Instead of trying to find a way to cheat the system, why not spend that time trying to improve your site and on-site SEO...

Clicking your own ads or having someone do it for you is stealing, plain and simple. Even if you only click once, it's still money you will receive fraudulently. Plus, it seems not worth it to potentially lose your account. Instead, why not build up your site for traffic and then use channels to track which ads are doing well for you?

There are many other ways that your computer can be tracked and not just with the IP address alone. I myself can get different IPs evey time I reconnect the internet. Social Bookmarker sites still bans my accounts. It's such a big risk to play with the big G. I'll never take that risk.

Agreed clicking on your own ads or any unethical way of getting clicks is not cool, but if it was an accident one off I wouldn't worry about it.

Very strange thread. Did most of the people here actually READ the starting post, or was it that they started typing right after seeing the subject? Apparently they did not bother to read, so big was the rush to land their own message. EDIT: Just go to your Adsense account and annul this click, giving Google all the explanations. Shouldn't be a big deal, really. |

Honestly, I've accidentally clicked an AdSense ad before. Nothing happened. But when it's one click out of many it doesn't really matter as much as if it's your only click. You could always email them and tell them you accidentally clicked on your own ad but didn't meant to, or just ignore it and hope for the best, I guess. |
