I have a question. When I am creating a backlink, lets say in a forum signature, If i have two websites, can i create two backlinks pointing to two different URLS? Would Google consider it as spam or OK since two different keywords and two different urls. They are not pointing to the same url. example: abc : abc.com xyz: xyz.com Thanks. |

Sure you can do that as long as the forum allows it. Check the rules of the forum if you are concerned.

Yea you can do this. Search engines also like content, thow the links in with a sentence about the webpage you are linking too. - That way it is not regarded as spamming for a backlink or two. Focus all backlinks for the viewers point of view and you'll do well. |

Nice question. I was wondering the same thing. Most forums have a limit on how many lines you can have, but if they allow more than one we should definitely be utilizing that.

Hi...this is a wonderful and smart way as it will reduce your work but at the same time I would like to point out that it might be useless as two different signature might confuse the reader and you might not be able to get much traffic....anyways I would love to give it a try...wishing that it would be allowed and would work for our website's progress... |

Well, great question you have raised here.. There is no problem with linking two different URL's. However, please follow the forum rules and regulation.

Forum backlinks are some of the fastest links that get indexed. I don't think google is that smart to know that you put 2 links in your signature, even if it does, I don't think it considers that spamming,,, |

forum signature back links are not exactly something to get excited about. They do show up in Google but by now Google knows that your forum signature is repeated numerous times throughout the form as your signature spreads in every post you make. It would not be considered spam because it would run into the valuation first meaning that it doesn't count for anything other than existing. It's a quick way to get a site indexed if you don't already have access to a site getting crawled every day. Other than that forum signatures are only useful for contact information etc. they won't get you anywhere in the search engine rankings

I'd say the more you add, the less Google cares about them. I wouldn't go more than 2 or 3 for SEO purposes. | |

If this is about forum concern, then you can read signature guidelines before creating signature.Because every forum has their own terms and conditions.Never try to do spam in link building work otherwise you ll get banned from quality websites or forums.

You can use that. Using two different keywords pointing two different sites is perfectly ok. Search engines should not have any problem with this issue. But it's important for you to know whether any forum will allow you to use two links in signature. So read the forum instructions and their posting guidelines carefully.

for sure don't do more than 2 per profile and it the profiles give you another spot for a link, (like "personal website" or "my favorite sites," etc) put one there and one in your profile.
