Hi In Australia at least there is an SEO/Web Design company call web profits and they have helped allot of large companies rank there websites in say 6 months after reading the testimonials. I looked at the websites from the testimonials that they have up on there website to see how they back link and I got what looked like they where using allot of natural links or a blogging network. The blogs where not related and they would sometimes just have links there for links sake, but these massive companies are ranking, so this must be working. Just wondering if anyone would know the best way to look farther into it? and track how they do it? I used MS for the first 1000 links, but thats about as far as I can get. Also thinking about using Scrape box to find out all of there links. But I really would love it if someone could give me some advice to work out what they are doing, so i can get it and improve on it, if possible. And if your curious then work on it with me to work out there strategies. Thanks allot Isaac |

Issac, you can use a tool like SEO Spy Glass to get more of an idea. They are just buying links on related blogs. I doesn't look like they own those blogs so just cold canvasing people I'd say. |

Hi Yeah use Ms at the Moment but I will have to check out spy glass I have heard allot of good things about it. So If they are buying links, they must be once of purchases, or would they be a monthly fee? also how do you compete with a company like that? Thanks |

I never understood why people focus this much time on stealing links. Most SEO firms, are not going to have links available for you to obtain. You will more than likely need to find your own links 90% of the time. Setting up your own network would be a very wise thing to do.

Yeah it's not so I can steal there links I just want to see what techniques they are using. Also I was going to set up my own blogging network, but I thought that they wouldn't be so affective because of the panda updated cracking down on blogging networks. ( I only say this because I was going to set them up to grab contain from rss feeds) I know if they have unique content and they where in a blogging network they wouldn't be penalized. Thanks Isaac |

You can analyze results and it is critical to do that, but I suggest to focus on your own Off page tactics and learn how to do them well.

Different niches react to different types of backlinking campaigns. It is wise to know what you are up against. Before you chase a keyword you want to be sure you can beat those ahead of you. Doing a thorough backlink analysis will give you an overall picture of what you need to achieve a positive result.
