Do Blog Networks (SLV, LV, AR, Linx Boss etc) still work?

I was a disciple of many of these networks last year... but I think they lost a lot of power since the Panda update. I would like to hear about current case studies specifically from SEO Linkvine, Linkvana, Linx Boss (or Backlink Ninja) Article Ranks, SEO Nitro, etc.

Yes, link/article networks in general still work:

I skipped over many of those you mentioned in this case study due to reviews from people saying they saw no results from those first few you mentioned.

Build My Rank still works anyway, don't know about the others. I'm using ArticleRanks a bit these days though, but mainly to get some diversity.

I am a big believer in needing 'all' types of links.
lots of low end ones, a bunch of 'middle' ones and then your high end high PR ones.
I dont think anyone can count on one link type anymore. Need variety!
