Hey I got the article to a 1.5 keyword density. It reads sort of funny now with all the "tips on getting pregnant" inserted. But check it out. tipsongettingpregnantreview dotcom |

Use the keyword in the title and keyword (it's fast and easy, even though google does not value it other verticals do/might) tag, and description, the H1, and put the keyword 1-3 times in the content, once toward the top of the article, once bolded somewhere, and one more time in the text maybe near the bottom (placement is not actually that important) and make it all look and read perfectly naturally. Hope that helps! Best, David |

Hi Sebastion. From what I think, don't tell him that it's not a good idea anymore and just think about yourself. Your job is to give him an article. If your client wishes you to use those key words 29 times in your articles then just do it. I don't think he hired you to tell him what to do anyway so this is what I think. About your question, you should write the key phrase as is. Good luck mate. |

The real problem with keyword density is that there are a few different ways to calculate it and various keyword density checkers usually end up with different figures (sometimes, significantly so) I've done a lot testing with WordPress on-page SEO plugins and various keyword density tools. In essence, there are two main ways to calculate keyword phrase density. A=Total occurrences of the keyword phrase in the article B=Total number of words in the article C=Number of words in the keyword phrase Probably the most common formula is: (A / B) * 100 however, a number of sites and tools use: (A * C / B) * 100 There are additional small variations such as ignoring stop words, but for purposes of keeping things simple, I'll ignore those for now. So let's look at an example. Say we have a 1000 word article and our keyword phrase is "local search engine rankings" and there are 10 occurrences of that phrase. Using the formulas above, the first formula gives us a keyword density of: (10 / 1000) * 100 = 1% whereas, the second formula gives you: (10 * 4 / 1000) * 100 = 4% As you can see, that's a significant difference and depending on which keyword density formula you use. |
