Default need help importing a Market Samurai CSV file into Excel

Hello! This is my very first post.

I did some keyword research in Market Samurai and saved the results as a CSV file. Now I would like to open the file in Excel (2003), but it looks very chaotic because all the infos and numbers (keyword, SEOT, SEOC, SEOV etc) are in the same cell! Same goes for every keyword.

I tried the importing Wizard (Data -> Import External Data) and followed the Importing wizard, but it's all very complicated and in the end it still looks totally garbled.

Could anyone help? I attached a screenshot.

It should open up in Excel with no problem. CSV is Comma Seperated Values file, and you can open or save that type of file with Excel. I use the 2003 version myself, and I use a lot of CSV files.

Excel can open text files also, so if you have a list of data or URLs, it will also open up in Excel and then you can manipulate it. If you arrange your data in a text file and separate the data with commas, you can use Excel to sort and arrange it also.

So, just open the file with Excel and don't worry.

Hi Tim

Thanks for trying to help! But did you click the screenshot I attached, at the bottom of my post? I can open the CSV file with Excel, no problem with that..but I can't actually do work with the table looking like that, because all the information is crammed into one cell. I can't sort data like that.

Please click the screenshot thumbnail, it will give you an idea of what I'm talking about!

Hey Jacky, did you ever figure that out? I'm having the same problem.
