Hey all, Anyone have a guess as to why I'm not seeing any ads in Google? E.G. I'll search for "stop dog aggression" and no ads are there, where there should be a ton right? I am located in Argentina at the moment, but I am using Google.com, so it should be the same as we see in the U.S. right? In fact, I don't see ads in google.com.ar either.... Is there a setting I'm missing? Any help would be appreciated! |

Therefore, you are still looking at google.com.ar and I also assume most English advertisers will not advertise to a Spanish speaking country using English keywords. Speaking of which, have you set preferences to show you English results as well as Spanish? Use google.com/adpreview to see ads in other parts of the world. I think you can add a command at the end of the results URL, I think it's ?gl=us but it's been a while so I'm forgetting. The easiest would be the preview site. | |

Thanks Lucid, I am using Google.com, US version, not Google.com.ar I had to do something funky a while back to get around that, but it is what I use. So maybe when I use Google.com here in Argentina, the adsense don't pop up because I'm outside the US? Google.com/adpreview seems to work, but I can't click through the ads to see what the competition is up to. To your knowledge is this an exactly what would show in a regular US based search? ?gl=us thing didn't seem to work, any other suggestions? Thanks! |

Are you logged into a gmail account? I know it affects searches, but not sure about ads. You could try googling through a US proxy to see if the results page is different Never heard of ads not showing...it seems to be the opposite these days...too many ads! |

Try hitting your refresh button after the SERP page comes up - I too have been noticing that NO ads are showing on the initial search but if I hit refresh they do?

Tried logging out of gmail and refreshing....didn't work. Yukon, seems to be pretty much in line with what you have in Google.com/adpreview. Any ideas on how to be able to click through to these ads? I can't do that in Google.com/adpreview |

The preview tool is not meant for you to click the ads. In fact, the impressions there don't show up in Adwords accounts. That's what it's for.

Not to my knowledge. You could just copy the display URL and paste it in your browser. Won't give you the exact landing page, just the home page, but better than nothing.

Using the Preview tool at http://www.google.com/adpreview You can see the ads that would show for a user at a given location and using specific Google search engines. You need to be logged into your adwords account. You can look at other country results by adding the "&gl=" code to the end of the search url. For example &gl=uk would search uk related results. For a full set of country codes go here http://www.iso.org/iso/en/prods-serv.../list-en1.html |
