So over the past month and a half i've had sites continually drop off the google search results but remain indexed. They've been indexed but not showing on search results for almost a month and a half, and many of these sites are old sites having been on page one for 6 months or more. I really need to know if i'm the only one having this happen to me. I just woke up this morning and again 2 more of my sites disappeared. But none of my sites are "banned' in a sense of being de-indexed. So what does this mean? I've had a google dance before dropping into the 20+ pages, but these just completely vanish from any and all pages of search results. Its like the main terms for my sites no longer register for them. Is this some sort of new google ban? What is going on? How the hell do i get these sites back into the search results? One site which had been gone for 2 months came back for 5 days last week, but its gone again now. What does this all mean? Why disappear for 2 months and come back for 5 days? This surely isn't a ban, is it? Anyone else had this happen with any of their sites? how do you fix it? more content? more links? what the hell? i'm really starting to panic. Is google going to keep doing this to me until all of my site are gone and i'm broke? I currently have 12 total sites in this "state of being." Good lord. |

A lot of people are reporting the same results.... I have specifically noticed it on a few of my sites in the past...2-3 weeks. I think it is a data roll out, and doubt it is anything to worry about. It probably is the google dance... There are more than a couple data servers and sometimes they need to update their index. I'm not sure how exactly they do it, but when a ton of people are experiencing this, especially on newer sites, it is just the data centers updating.

I've written a FAQ for this exact question, since it gets asked quite often. Check out http://www.warriorforum.com/adsense-...deindexed.html |

![]() How To Tell If You Were Sunk If you weren't Deindexed and weren't Penalized but your site's traffic from Google keyword searches has dropped dramatically, your site might have Sunk. There is no manual action by Google, no removal from the index. But keywords you were previously ranking well for are no longer ranking well. There are MANY reasons why your site may have sunk in the Google rankings, but some of the most frequent are:

| people seem to think that if you use the same anchor text for all your backlinks you will get a penalty. Even though this is one of the many things you could do to screw your competition... i highly doubt that this sort of thing gets a penalty.

I currently have a site that has over 11k backlinks that are from 200 plus class C addresses. They range in anchor text etc. My site completly ranks for nothing now except for its domain name. Its still indexed and does not have any penaltys that I know of. Would there be anything that would cause it to be off the face of the map? Its been this way for some time and its being reworked now. I just curious if this is something that I should worry about or do you think new fresh backlinks will cure the problem?
