Default Does anyone still do misspelled domain names?

Is it still worthwhile to register misspelled domain names? Google usually corrects your spelling or points you to the proper domain. It just seems that some would be easy to rank for and use some CPA or adsense...

Just looking for some thoughts on this.

Thanks!

I say no, it's not worth the time, energy, or expense. Google's spell check is sooo good right now that I wouldn't even optimize a single page of my site for a misspelling, much less reserve a new domain for it and build-out a site.

Hope that helps!
Best,
David

True. If you enter a misspelling into google, it won't even show you search results for the misspelling. It will automatically direct you to search results for the correct spelling.

I think you got your answer.

Google is getting smarter and smarter about SEO "tricks." Eventually, I think it will start to change to lean even more towards QUALITY and less about SEO. I read an article today about how it may be time Google starts looking at actual "authorities" for articles. In other words, an article about cancer written by a doctor should hold higher ranking than an eHow article from someone who is not even close to being a doctor, but is just familiar with keywords, etc.

Stop trying to trick the system and instead provide valuable information. In the end, it will payoff.

Tired of paying for low-quality writing? If you care about your reputation, get Professional Writing Services for your business needs.

If you can not afford to pay for unique content, why not get limited PLR articles for your website?
