Anchor text is more important for the page that it links to and not so much for the page it is on. For example if I had a guest blog post on a Outdoor Living blog and linked the words "outdoor gas grill" to another site selling gas grills, then Google would give the ecommerce site a very relevant and important back link--in other words big brownie points

Yep, another spambot spamfest thread.

Seems like all the spambot spammers are gravitating to this forum since they can post spam to their hearts content, while we humans have to read through all the junk to find real threads started by real people. Sad isn't it?

We should create a game where we score points for each spambot thread we spot.

Yes, this seo forum gets hit hard most of the time late at night.

We need Like + Dislike buttons for only the thread OPs post, that way say 10 dislikes will put the thread into a manual forum Mod. review, & we won't have to look at the $hit.

Anyone with over 3k forum post (me ) isn't included in the Like + Dislike.
