How to Add H1 Tags to a Wordpress Blog?

I'm at a lost on how to add H1 tags to a wordpress blog. I know that it is important on-page SEO, but I can't seem to find where to add this. I currently use the Platinum SEO plugin but I can't find where to add an H1 tag.

Are there other plugins that I need to use or do I need to manually change code in my templates?

Where exactly you want to put that? If you're concerned about wp post or page body, then there is a drop down selection option, when you create a new post or page. Select your heading or text and wrap it with h1, h2, h3 and so on...!

It is very simple if you have the access to word press account of your blog. On the left side there are option. Secondly the title of post is also H1 tag....

The main post heading is h1 itself so no need to create manually..

I was doing some maintenence on my blog and don't know what I did, but can no longer find the paragraph, h 1, h2 etc on my posts where there is the heading for paragraphs, heading, fonts, colours etc, they are gone. It happened after I installed the plugin viper videotags.....what happened. Please help.

At first, you have to the access to wordpress account of your blog. On the left side there are option. Secondly the title of post is also H1 tag....
