How much should I expect to pay for proffessional link building?

I want to know from those who are using professional SEO companies how much approximately per link you are paying for your link building campaign as im thinking of hiring a company?

Ive had a quote from a top SEO company in the UK who is wanting to charge me around £35 to £40 per link, I know they are damn fine links as my colleague uses them already and his rankings are doing great now.

Please don't litter this thread with sales pitches, im not going to entertain!

A per-link price isn't a good marker as links can vary in quality.

There are links out there that I simply would not care to pay for. There are links out there that I might pay hundreds of dollars for (if the situation was right).

£40/link is reasonable for a damn good link.

▣ Make sure the link you're getting is coming from an authority site, check page rank and search ranking.
▣ Make sure the seller will not delete your link sometime following the transaction.
▣ Make sure the link page doesn't have too many other external links on it.
▣ Make sure the link is relevant. Relevance + authority = rank.

Orvn makes some damn good points.

basically not a lot of companies will charge you per link basis, so if they can insure quality links this is not a high price to pay. Other companies might offer you a monthly link building plan worth $500 but the quality of links will vary from low to a few high quality ones.

Bottom line, if your friend is satisfied you should go for it, at least try them out!

The price of a link depends on various factors and some of them are.

Age
Trust
How often they link(imp)
No of incoming links
Past History.

For that much money, you can get a pretty good links.

The price of the links is in the value of the links and you should be looking at pretty valueable linkd for that price.

The best reccomendation has got to be from your friend as "tried and tested" if they have worked for him and he is happy with the service and price then why would they not be good enough for you??
