Hi guys, I was wondering how well do forum sites rank from your experience, now I know they take a fair bit of work to get off the ground I have made a few of them in my time, I know wordpress blogs rank well I have also built a few of them too, but I have never built a forum and a wordpress blog targeting the same keyword and compared how the two rank, let’s say I was using vbulletin for example, all other things been equal how do you think the two would compare to each other. Many thanks |

I think they both can do very well. The advantage to the forum software is you can get more user generated content including new topics. In my opinion your plan should be about producing content that provides the social signals that google is looking for increasingly. You want real people interacting on your site. If you can figure out how to do that, you will go far. |
