You can backlink to them and you should. Google won't think it's unnatural. That's how all rankings are calculated, that and some other factors but backlinks play a major role.

Really you should be backlinking any page that you would like to rank in the SERPs. It's ok to mix up the anchor-text, still I would use your target keyword per page & stick with it for most of the backlinks. If you have 100 pages on your site, it's good to target those exact keywords (per page). Try & add the keyword in both the page title (on your site) + the anchor-text in your external backlink, that will create relevancy between the site/page you own & the external backlink you create with anchor-text. Example: 1) (my sites internal page title) 2012 Auto Show Rocks Chicago! 2) (external anchor-text backlink) Auto Show |

The strategy is definitely recommended by most experts because in addition to your homepage, you can target dozens of more hot business words and by adding links to your pages, after a while you will experience a traffic boost because tens of your pages would be found and clicked on by webmasters who are using long tail terms while approaching the net, using search engines like Google. It is also a way of increasing values of websites because content rich sites or blogs are normally having some incoming links pointing at their inner pages. Long tail terms are normally easier to target and rank than sticking to one or two term words that are in most cases very competitive and demand months of constant SEO work. |

| That's completely fine, but you should focus your backlinking efforts using the keywords that your aiming to rank for as the anchor text. It is good to vary the anchor text-about 10% of the time-but focus using your main keywords as anchor text. You'll achieve higher rankings that way.
