Vbulletin V Wordpress for ranking?

Hi guys,

I was wondering all other things been equal and suppose you were targeting the same keyword, how would a vbulletin forum rank in comparison to a wordpress blog? Any thoughts?

I would think that, as a site, for a tight-knit group of keywords, the WordPress would fare better, because the content is more targeted, and not dependent upon other's contributions. Plus, the SEO levers are easier to manipulate.

However, the VBulletin would have the benefit of collecting user-generated content, so it would take longer to get off the ground, but could easily be stronger in the long run.
